Departmental Information 
The central Ticketing team is a team of highly skilled agents who manage queues within GDS systems, process air tickets and EMD's for ancillaries, reissues for flight amendments and refunds. The team have a great knowledge of air fares and ever changing airline rules and policies. They also look after the loading of Net fares and other admin duties including BSP, invoicing, monitoring mailboxes and resolving queries.


Purpose of the role overview
We are looking for a Fares & Ticketing Consultant to join a highly skilled ticketing team. To manage the queues within GDS systems, process air tickets, quotes / reissues and refunds. Admin duties including BSP, accurate invoicing, monitoring mailboxes and resolving queries. Loading Net fares in to Net fare manager and other systems.


Accountabilities
• Process air BSP tickets and issue EMD’s for ancillaries in line with SLA’s
• Ensure accuracy in accordance with airline rules and regulations to reduce ADM bill
• Process quotes and reissues, both automatically and manually, in a timely and accurate manner
• Managing involuntary flight schedule changes that cannot be automated
• Accurately process data and issue invoices
• Support any commercial agreements in place through Air Fares Unit
• Liaise with airlines when required
• Ensure that communication channels are well established and maintained (internal & external)
• Monitor team inboxes and prioritise tasks
• Portray a professional and knowledgeable manner at all times
• Continuously strive to improve standards to meet and exceed objectives
• All work handled in line with current GDPR regulations



Job requirements

•Knowledge of Galileo is essential (primary GDS), with an excellent understanding of fares & ticketing. (other GDS’s desirable).
•Highly attentive to details with a firm focus on ownership and accountability
•High level of accuracy and ability to follow complex instructions
•Ability to work with different systems and liaise with airlines
•Knowledge of BSPlink is essential
•Knowledge of Travelpower preferred
•Professional written and verbal communication skills in English
•Good listening and communications skills
•Good customer service skills
•Ability to think logically and consider all relevant aspects with strong analytical skills
•Ability to pass on knowledge and skills to others through effective training
•Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and work with own initiative
•Strong Investigative skills
•Highly motivated with ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
